For the second year, I've helped out a High School cross country coach with the design for his invitational t-shirts. High School students are discriminating. As the coach said, they decide in a split second if the shirt is "cool" (worth buying and wearing) or "stupid." Also, the shirt has to appeal to students and their parents. Sales of this shirt were good, so I think I hit the mark.
I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with Mallet Incorporated, a local Seattle design-build company. The term design-build means they do both architectural designs and construction work on their projects, mainly remodels and renovations. Their work can be seen all over the greater Seattle area. My work for them has begun with a website, http://malletinc.com, and I hope there are more projects in the future.
